Our local home visiting service is open to anyone that lives within 10 miles (by road) from Southend-on-Sea, this is will calculated from the postal code SS2 4DL.
Whether you have a fish pond, an aviary of birds, chickens or a water monitor we can arrange to visit your home, up to twice a day if necessary, in order to care for your animals in their own familiar environment.

We currently charge £15.00 per visit. Where applicable we will spot clean enclosures, provide fresh food and water, observe animals for any signs of illness or injury and spend a period of time interacting with the animals that may benefit from this.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if my pet falls ill? We will contact you as soon as we are concerned with your animal to confirm whether you are happy with us to transport your pet to the vets. If we cannot contact you we will rely on the advice of your emergency home contact so please make them aware of any actions you may wish to undertake. You will be responsible for any vet bills upon your return.

What happens if our flights home are cancelled? We appreciate that things can hinder arrangements, however, if we are informed prior to your agreed date we will try to accommodate longer visits where possible and charge this at our normal rate. If we are not informed prior to your return date your animals may be left at risk if we have not planned to make further visits. If we do not hear from you and decide to make further visits these may be charged at an inflated cost. Please note that if you choose not to return and animals are deemed to be abandoned we will contact the RSPCA.
